Hydrocut
Do you charge a mobilization fee?
Yes, we do charge a mobilization fee. This fee covers the expenses associated with transporting our equipment to and from your job site, including a round trip for all necessary tools and machinery. The specific amount of the fee is determined by the distance we need to travel to reach your property. What is mechanical grinding/clearing and how does it differ from stumping and grubbing?
Mechanical grinding/clearing is a more cost-effective and environmentally friendly method of land clearing. It involves cutting trees at ground level and mulching the material, similar to mowing grass. This process leaves the root systems in place, creating a natural mulch bed. In contrast, traditional stumping and grubbing removes the entire root system. How do I maintain my property after mechanical grinding/clearing?
Maintaining your property after mechanical grinding/clearing is straightforward. You can use a lawn tractor for regular upkeep. Additionally, you have the option to spread fine grass seed directly over the mulch, which will allow grass to grow naturally while keeping the area manageable.Do I have to remove all the trees during land clearing?
No, we can work around larger trees and focus on clearing brush and smaller trees if that's your preference. This approach allows you to preserve the trees you want while still opening up the land. Can your machines access residential properties?
Our machines can access residential properties, provided there is at least a 12-foot-wide path to the work area. For safety reasons and to prevent damage, we cannot drive our equipment over septic tanks, concrete surfaces, or driveways.
